We spent an evening at Big Hill Lake walking a trail and throwing rocks in the peaceful water. I learned that when you're 6 and 2, being allowed to throw rocks is right up there with going to Disneyland

I've read several books on this subject but I liked this one because it gave good solid advice for protecting my kids. I encourage everyone to read it, even if you don't have children. Our society tends to be very ignorant of the facts in this department. Ok. I'm off my soapbox now.

Last night we went to the Balloon Glow in Parsons. It was cool.

One of the balloons all lit up.
